Castone Corp., a family owned business, was founded in Opelika in 1962 by David M. James, Sr. The firm was incorporated in December of 1963. Mr. James has three sons, David, Jr, Micheal, and Cooper, who have taken the helm as we advance into the twenty-first century.

Castone originally produced Cast Stone, or “Dry Tamp” concrete products; however, for many years now Castone has produced Architectural Precast Concrete, or “Wet Pour” concrete products in addition to its Cast Stone department. Castone is now a full-service General Contractor specializing in your building envelope. The Architectural Precast Association certifies Castone as a producer of Architectural Precast and Cast Stone products. We offer pre-construction design consulting, drafting & engineering, custom precast manufacture, in-house testing and Quality Control, masonry, installation, cleaning, and waterproofing of your building skin.
